Enjoy the gorgeous views from the screened porch or the deck that’s equipped with a gas grill and has steps leading to the back yard. Kiawah Island is about an hour outside of Charleston so its an easy weekend beach getaway. Although its small, theres so much to do on this barrier island! There are nine miles of pristine beaches to enjoy, with stunning sunrises and sunsets. It was one of those rare instances, where when we got to the home, it was even better looking than the pictures.
Bathrooms are all exceptionally clean, offer wonderfully-thick towels and soft rugs to step on when you get out of the shower each morning. Kiawah Island Getaways has a goal of delighting our guests when they check-in. Be sure to read the guest comments that are included on each villa’s listing. Alcohol is not allowed on any public South Carolina Beach. However, Kiawah is a private beach – you may only use plastic cups for ANY beverage , including alcohol– no bottles, glass, or cans.

Pack a picnic and travel down the beach to watch the sun rise. If you travel a few minutes off of Kiawah, theres plenty of quiet beaches. This was our first trip to Kiawah and it was a great one.
